Budget option which is suitable for timber non–fire rated
doors only
The MK1 Door Coordinator ensures that a pair of timber doors will always shut in the correct sequence, regardless of which door is opened first. If the double doors do not shut in the correct sequence they will not close in the middle.
The type of doors they are most typically used on are:
- Timber rebated doors
- Timer doors with security astragals
- Timber flush doors with automatic flush bolts
Please note that our MK1 door coordinator is not fire regulated and comes with a tubular rebate catch that has to be installed into the door frame.
As the MK1 door coordinator is intended for use on non-fire doors CE marking is not applicable, although it does comply with the European standard - BS EN1158.
