Fire Bolts deliver critical protection to prevent fire doors from warping during a fire. Designed to activate under intense heat, this spring-loaded bolt engages automatically, locking the door and frame together to maintain a secure, sealed barrier against flames and smoke.

At the heart of the A2.0 is a precision-engineered thermo-fuse element that activates at just 110–150 °C, ensuring rapid and reliable performance when exposed to fire conditions.

Technical Specification

    • UL Listed USA (UL10C and UL10B) and Canada (ULC-S104)

    • Included in successful fire tests to EN 1634-1 in both steel and timber doors for varying durations

    • Single piece galvanised metal cylindrical body, machined from solid, dimensions 14x42mm (standard)/52mm (long), fixing flange 25x3 mm.

    • Conical metal sealing pin, variable diameter from 5 to 3 mm

    • Standard length 17.5 mm, stroke 16 mm.

    • Long length 27.5mm, stroke 23mm.

    • Internal compression spring with 25 N thrust, operating temperature up to 540 °C, heating element to be installed if required.
