We have extensively tested the MK2 for fire doors to ensure that this product is compliant for use on fire doors. The fire testing results are as follows:
Timber/Mineral Door Assemblies – full range tested to BS EN 1634-1:2014 for up to 120 minutes integrity and insulation performance.
Bidirectional: can be mounted either side, regardless of exposure direction.
Steel Door Assemblies – full range tested to BS EN 1634-1:2014 for up to 240 minutes integrity (and where appropriate insulation performance.)
Bidirectional: can be mounted either side, regardless of exposure direction.

The rebate catch must be fitted to ensure that the 2nd closing door with the rebate block goes beyond the end of the arm on the body, everytime. It acts as a failsafe. If the rebate block is not fitted the CE mark and UL listing will become invalidated and the product will not be suitable for fire doors.

Yes, our door coordinators can be used with panic bars however the panic bars have to be positioned correctly to accommodate the door coordinator. We would always encourage getting in contact if you are unsure with any relevant drawings.

This will vary depending on the finish you require.. For silver anodised and satin stainless steel finishes we work on a 3-4 day lead time for orders up to 100. Maximum of 10 working days for all other finishes.
