This radio controlled fire door closer holds open and safely closes the fire door in the event of a fault or fire.
It is a system of battery-powered, magnetic fire door holders controlled by radio signals from a central controller.
Holding fire doors open:
- Ensures ease of access throughout the building
- Helps to prevent wear and tear of expensive fire doors
- Improves ventilation
- Restriction-free movement around the building in line with the disability provision of the Equality Act 2010
The door holder only be activated by the fire alarm and are therefore suitable for noisy environments.
