Why choose the Fire Bolt?

  • Automatic fire activation. The Fire Bolt engages under heat, without the need for power or manual intervention

  • Prevents door and/or frame deflection, ensuring critical fire and smoke seal is maintained

  • Flexible installation. The Fire Bolt fits horizontally or vertically based on deflection rise

  • Suitable for single or double timber and steel fire doors

  • Available in standard (timber doors) and long (steel doors) length

How it works

Engineered for performance, trusted in emergencies

In a fire, doors and frames can deflect or warp due to heat, compromising the seal and allowing smoke or flames to pass through. Door deflection is a major risk to life safety and fire containment. The A2.0 Fire Bolt mitigates this risk by keeping the door and frame firmly connected, preserving the door’s integrity when it matters most. The mechanism is automatically activated by heat which means it can be trusted to work, without power or manual intervention.

Sizes

At the heart of the A2.0 is a precision-engineered thermo-fuse element that activates at just 110–150 °C, ensuring rapid and reliable performance when exposed to fire conditions.
